Blogger Comments On "Legally UnBound"

“Legally Unbound is a great site for those who are scholars of the law, and interested in how our standards of ethics and true adherence to standards of justice have failed. It’s a particularly good blog if you happen to live in Nevada, where many of the cases discussed will be familiar to you.” – Mary Ward, www.doyoudiggit.com

"What happens in Vegas … makes for a great [Legally UnBound] Blawg Review [#231]," – Elie Mystal, www.abovethelaw.com

"As a child of Las Vegas, I have a soft spot for all things "Sin City." For that reason, among others, I was touched by the sensitivity with which the anonymous blogger that is Legally UnBound used words to scult a snapshot (dare I say, tableau) of Las Vegas and its unique culture . . . it's not necessarily for the faint of heart . . . Sweet, sweet childhood memories . . ." -- H. Scott Leviant, www.thecomplexlitigator.com

Relevant to the Legally UnBound hosting of the Blawg Review #231, "Kael Garvey, the Blog's pseudonymous Vegas-resident proprietor . . . takes us on a tour of Sin City and the best of legal blogging of the past week. Highlights . . . include celebrating innovations in the desert and innovators in the law, covering The Juice in the system and juicing the system, and appreciating lying and gambling for their strategic values." -- Colin Samuels, infamyorpraise.blogspot.com

Legally UnBound is "another example of great use of a blog." – Sheryl Sisk Schelin, The Inspired Soloist

Direct Message @legallyunbound: “Excellent job, btw!” – Jeff Gordon (@Negot8or), www.licensinghandbook.com

Legally UnBound did “a great Blawg Review, amusing, incisive, covers the blogs and I enjoyed it immensely. I’ve not been to Las Vegas… but after reading this BR it is certainly somewhere I would enjoy visiting. Go and feel the sin….” – CharonQC, charonqc.wordpress.com

“Legally Unbound posts on the debate in Nevada over judicial appointments vs judicial elections, suggesting a very sensible three prong solution for removing bias from the judicial system.” – Marie-Louise Mortimer, duncanbucknell.com

"I grew up in Las Vegas. As a kid, I thought it seemed like a shady place. Legally Unbound agrees, noting that Nevada Needs Strict Judicial Canons, Increased Judicial Evaluations, Not Judicial Appointment By The Governor." – H. Scott Leviant, www.thecomplexlitigator.com

“I recommend @legallyunbound because ...he has the hips to the haps on Vegas Judicial system.” – @jmb4free

"Released from the restrictions of middle-class propriety, this Vegas-themed Blawg Review [from Kael Garvey’s Legally UnBound] is, of course, pure entertainment that turns the dim night into classy, classy day!" – Ron Coleman, www.likelihoodofconfusion.com

"Legally UnBound is a Nevada based Blawg that may, at first, come across as unconventional. In reality, it is a depiction of the law that does not try to please anybody but the gods of justice. With honesty, humility, and the occasional humor, Legally UnBound is undoubtedly one of the most well written, interesting, and relevant law blogs on the Internet, especially for those living in Nevada." – Dominic Sebahia, www.newlawyer.com

Legally UnBound
Las Vegas, Nevada
I go by Kael Garvey at Legally UnBound. I'm a long time Las Vegas attorney practicing in the areas of litigation & business law. To better understand the use of a penname, see my Blawg. Somewhere along the line, in my opinion, ethics took a back seat to self promotion for many legal folks. In an effort to continue to self promote they insulate themselves with ‘insiders’ & ‘yes men’; loyalists that won’t question or expose their lack of ethics & bias. Ironically, many of the highly educated legal minds are the central offenders. (e.g. judges, attorneys, professors & politicians). With compromised ethics & lacking in truth & equity, these individuals hide their selfish desires & disguise their bias, bathing self admiration. I seek to uncover this barrier to fairness & justice. I expose what I know, opine what I suspect & implore you to lend a hand.
