Judge Cadish has repeatedly demonstrated in motion after motion and trial after trial that she was a great appointment. Personally I would have liked to have seen Dept. 6 read "Judge Nancy Allf". I was pulling for her to get appointed, as she was in the pool of 3. However, Judge Cadish is consistent, is attentive, demonstrates professionalism with counsel, is courteous to witnesses and parties, FOLLOWS THE LAW, allows for some error and correction, and on and on...
Now, she has recused herself due to a conflict of interest in the Krolicki case. Judge Cadish indicated that she was a former law partner with the attorney representing Krolicki in the investigation, Scott Scherer. Many, if not most, Nevada judges would not consider that a 'conflict'. Cheers to Judge Cadish for taking the high road and recognizing where 'bias' could enter the case, via the bench, & recusing.
Again, just one more reason Judge Cadish was a good appointment to the bench, sorry Nancy.

This article needs a follow up. If this were in Nevada, I would do it. Florida is a little far, but it looks like Broward Sheriff's are exactly like Las Vegas Metro. A badge does not make you untouchable. We have got to stop being so tolerant of police, judicial and attorney corruption.
