That "cheapens the hard work those of us who are [verterans & attorneys] have put into becoming so". I'm not a veteran, but I am an attorney. Your ironic logic makes the same mistake as the original "anonymous" poster.

It is not "dishonest" to write via a pseudonym, which is only a way of tracking a writer's anonymous writings. It is still me, simply anonymous, for various reasons. You can follow my links to postings by Ken @ Popehat.com to follow many of the same reasons for my anonymity. My experience and education is unchanged. I am not 5 years old simply because I have written as Legally UnBound for 5 years. If such were the case, I would only have recently learned to read. Your logic is flawed. If you would like to get into this discussion, I will certainly site many more examples for you of "honest" pseudonym writing, than you will of such being "dishonest". (e.g. Ben Franklin, Samuel Langhorne Clemens, you know Mark Twain). There are presidents on the list, too. Anonymous writing is very common in our "free speech" society, just as much as you are free to believe/agree, or not, with what I have to say.

It is neither intellectually dishonest, nor is it a discredit or insult to "our" hard work as a verteran or attorney, neither of which you have provided evidence of, though you have claimed to be both, anonymously.

Before the pot calls the kettle "black", you must first exclude yourself from the "cast iron cookware" category. Even then, I may still like being a "kettle".

If your "PenName" doesn't have a &qu...

If your "PenName" doesn't have a "bar number" then your "PenName" is not an attorney and should refrain from claiming to be an attorney.

To wrongfully claim you are an attorney cheapens the hard work those of us who are attorneys have put into becoming so.

By way of comparison, as a veteran, I feel equally upset when someone wrongfully claims to have served in the military, when they have in fact not done so.

I have no problem with Legally UnBound's anonymity, but I do have a problem with the integrity/honesty.
